FSB warns the public against Instant Group SA

The curatorship of Bosele National Provident Fund

On 8 February 2018, the Mahikeng High Court granted an application brought by the Registrar of Pension Funds in terms of section 5(1) of the Financial Institutions (Protection of Funds) Act, 2001 for the appointment of curators to the Bosele National Provident Fund. The court appointed Mr Malcolm Campbell and Mr Ntshengedzeni Anthony Michael Tshivhase as the joint curators of the Bosele National Provident Fund.

FSB Statement on JVN ASSET MANAGEMENT (Pty) Ltd

It has come to the FSB’s attention that JVN Asset Management (Pty) Ltd FSP 45923 (“JVN”), managed and controlled by Mr Levi Alex Nkosi, has sent out communication to their clients, under the name of the JVN Asset Management Team. The communication contains some statements that require the Registrar of Financial Service Providers (“the Registrar”) to either put the statements in context or correct some of the inaccuracies.
