While we like to think of hospitals as sanctums of healing, they must also be a sustainable business - that needs to operate as a going concern and remain sustainable for years to come. To do so, they need to be and remain competitive by offering better services at a lower cost, especially with the opening of more and more new hospitals, clinics and other private healthcare facilities.
