![]() PROGRAMME SAIA presents the first of a series of Breakfast Sessions for the year 2020 with a focus on the sustainability of property insurance, while also exploring the challenges and the risks faced by local governments and the non-life insurance industry as a result of changes in weather patterns (climate change). There is little doubt that over the past decade, we have witnessed significant changes in weather patterns that have led to flood disasters and wildfires, costing both the government and the insurance industry billions of Rands collectively.
