Down to the last four - task six episode six, sponsored by Emerald Africa, sees the apprentices out of their comfort zones as they go from the corporate world into the unknown.

Task six #riskbestpractice
It's always fun, but at the same time serious business with Emerald Africa and following the previous episode's drama, there are some serious fires to put out as the apprentices delve into a fire walk and demonstration at the Fire Protection Association of Southern Africa (FPASA).

With guest judges Chris Potter, Portfolio Executive and Carla Jordan, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Officer: International Business at Emerald Africa on hand to assist with the task and sit in as a panel with Judge Simon and Judge Nadia Starr, Chief Executive Officer at Inseta, the apprentices are then handed their task.

The apprentices are tasked to read through a risk survey report provided by Emerald Africa. The apprentices are to assess the risk and the adverse risk exposures stated in the report, in comparison with the Risk Best Practice document, and produce a list of Risk Improvement Recommendations that should be presented to the broker and the insured (the panel of judges).

In addition to this, the apprentices are to provide their comments as to the risk quality within the company. Did they meet the mandate?
