With South African Government schools closing on the 24th of June and Private Schools breaking up on the 1st of July, many families may be planning a holiday during this mid-year break. However, while they are busy planning their route and arranging accommodation many people forget to plan for unexpected events, such as an accident, a breakdown or flat tyre. According to the SA Customer Satisfaction Index released today, customers of South Africa’s largest short-term insurers are marginally more satisfied than last year. The findings from this year show Santam achieving the sole leadership position and OutSurance dropping from a 2014 shared leadership position to a below par ranking.
