Stonebridge selects SSP to modernise its legacy systems for greater flexibility and business agility

SSP, a leading global provider of insurance technology, announced today that it is working with Stonebridge International Insurance Limited (Stonebridge) to upgrade its existing I90 system with SSP Select Insurance as part of a large-scale legacy transformation project. Once completed, the project will help support Stonebridge’s key business objectives across seven European countries, helping it to launch a wider range of innovative insurance products and respond to market demands much more quickly.

Stonebridge provides a wide range of direct marketing and strategy development services for the insurance sector. The company creates highly-effective partner-branded insurance and third-party products that are tailored to meet the specific needs of its business partners and their customers. In addition to providing a variety of simple, low-cost, high-value accident and health products, Stonebridge also develops products that are custom-made to meet the unique needs of particular audiences.

In a drive to enhance flexibility, the company decided to upgrade its I90 legacy system to better position it to grow the business, improve the customer experience and offer more innovative products across a wider range of channels.

“Because our business is growing so quickly, we wanted to work with a trusted partner that can provide the technology that we need to bring innovative products to market more quickly and with greater flexibility in terms of both pricing and delivery,” says Kanny Dua, COO at Stonebridge.

“Legacy modernisation has become a business-critical process as today’s companies are faced with intense competition and increased customer demands,” says Laurence Walker, chief executive officer at SSP. “Improved speed-to-market, greater product innovation and enhanced customer service all require true flexibility, which is why the modernisation of these core systems is so crucial. We are delighted to be extending our existing relationship with Stonebridge and to support the company’s continued growth.”
