Quanta adopts SSP insurance technology solutions
Namibia’s first wholly-owned insurance company, Quanta, has appointed SSP to provide a robust, flexible IT system that will help position the start-up as a leader in the Namibian insurance landscape.
SSP’s fully hosted solution provides Quanta with a single platform IT system with efficient controls and governance, enabling the company to contain its IT and operational costs while developing its product portfolio and company base. Johan Barnard, Quanta CEO, said the team investigated many system options and as a start-up realised that they needed to work with reliable experts that understand not only software but also the industry.
Barnard and his team have extensive experience in insurance and have been involved in procuring and using various software solutions and systems. According to Barnard, SSP was the obvious choice. “I have previously worked with SSP and I value their advice and trust their ability to deliver value at a cost appropriate for a start-up insurer.”
