PROFIDA to raise brand awareness on the conference circuit
Financial planning and practice management software enhanced
The PROFIDA Team, a leading provider of financial services software solutions, intends raising the profile of its brand by adopting a high visibility approach at relevant conferences and exhibitions, starting with the 2011 convention of the Financial Planning Institute (FPI), which takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre on 2 and 3 June.
PROFIDA has invested in a new custom-designed exhibition stand with a layout and design in keeping with the group’s modern, dynamic and flexible approach to developing software solutions and customisations for the financial services industry.
According to Daniel Putra, MD of the PROFIDA Team, the time is right for the company to enhance the profile of its brand. “For the past 10 years we have focused on establishing our software solutions, as well as building relationships in the financial services industry. We are now ready to extend our exhibition profile with a view to significantly raising brand awareness.”
Putra added that exhibitions facilitate direct personal interaction, allowing PROFIDA to communicate directly with its target audience who are able to experience software products in a tangible way.
Along with its new marketing focus, PROFIDA has enhanced its financial planning and practice management software.
A suite of new facilities has been added for the advanced management of client investment portfolios. In terms of client reporting PROFIDA has developed the ability for financial planners to view specified time frames so that the past investment performance of portfolios can be analysed.
PROFIDA integrates data from investment providers Allan Gray, Fairbairn Capital, Momentum Wealth, Stanlib and Discovery Invest via the Astute platform.
Putra added that, in future, PROFIDA would also be able to interface directly with Allan Gray and Momentum Wealth to import client portfolio data. The advantage of this is that entire transaction histories are generated and these can be seamlessly processed for PROFIDA reports like Portfolio Schedules and Quarterly Investment Reports.
The Quarterly Investment Report automatically computes the values, net yield (internal rate of return) and quarterly growth, as well as performance in percentages for each investment account. Another advantage is that the portfolio of an entire client base can be easily imported, which makes monthly investment reporting for the full client base achievable and efficient.
