PROFIDA, the technology leader in financial needs analysis (FNA) and practice management software, has enhanced its client relationship management capabilities for the benefit of financial advisers using the system.

According to Daniel Putra, MD of the PROFIDA Team, “Staying in touch with clients is an important but a time consuming task. Technology can automate the process, resulting in improved efficiencies.”

The PROFDIA Team will be on hand to demonstrate various automated options for staying in touch with clients at the 2015 convention of the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) at the Sandton Convention Centre on 24 and 25 June.

For example, sending birthday wishes on a daily basis can be computerised with an automatic SMS message sent to the client. Similarly, financial advisers who prefer to email a custom-designed birthday card can easily set this up with two clicks of the mouse.

The same automated process can be put in place for greetings and wishes related to anniversaries, religious holidays and other events. Also, marketing campaigns and newsletters can be distributed in bulk via email or SMS to either the entire client base or selected recipients. The system is designed to keep a record of communications sent to each client, as well as confirmation that the communication has been received.

“There are no limits in terms of the format used for email attachments. They can be in Word or JPEG format and include all kinds of formatting, colours, and tables. Preset variables can be used when extracting data from the PROFIDA database to populate emails and attachments,” said Mr Putra.

Using variables means that the same attachment, letter or report can be personalized for each client. This eliminates errors as the client’s address, policy number and other details are automatically populated, saving time and minimising the risk of using incorrect data.

The PROFIDA Team is inviting all delegates at the FPI Convention to visit their stand for a trial demo of the impressive range of features available on PROFIDA.

PROFIDA runs on all mobile devices including laptops, smart phones and tablets without having to install or integrate with a special mobile application. This is in keeping with PROFIDA’s objective to help simplify the lives of its users.
