What’s inside… FAnews Magazine October 2022

04 October 2022 | Talked About Features | The Stage | Rianet Whitehead

FAnews is celebrating 25 years of making a difference in the insurance and financial services industry. What started off as an eight-page newsletter, and then transformed into a magazine (in a short space of time), is now a business we are so incredibly proud of. With a few initiatives over the years, in the form of our website, daily (relevant and topical) newsletters, our FAnews (online and print) and FAnuus (the Afrikaans version of the publication, which was last published in 2019) publications, The Insurance Apprentice competition, our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) platform (with more than 26 000 people registered on it), and our innovative way on how we constantly do things and add value to/for our advertisers and the insurance industry, as a whole, has made us the most read and most recognised source of high quality and reliable content.

What makes me even more proud, is the fact that my team and I could build the business on a solid foundation laid down by my dad, Tienie van der Berg, the Founder of this business. It’s such an honour for me to just keep on innovating and expanding our offering, because that is exactly what he would have done. So, here’s to another 25, and more!

In this edition (other than the usual categories, we focussed a bit more on the short-term space), we have loads of insightful and topical issues we address, with our usual 12 articles earmarked for CPD. If you have not used our system yet, please do yourself a favour… we are often commended on our high-quality content and user-friendly system, with some incredible administration support, should you need it.

Over to the October edition… below is a summary of most of the articles we have in this edition, which is a print and digital publication. The links, on all of the articles listed below, will take you directly to the FAnews October 2022 edition.

I recall how your dad's publication was the only voice of the independent financial adviser and a sorely needed source of reliable and independent information. You have certainly carried on that tradition. Well done, and here's to the next 25.
