12 new chapters, 365 new chances

05 January 2022 Rianet Whitehead

A very wise man once told me that you cannot look back – you just have to put the past behind you and find something better in the future, and suddenly you know… it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end… and with every new beginning, we have 12 new chapters and 365 new chances… waiting to be written, with new questions to be asked and new answers to be discovered.

There’s a lot to write about and so many questions with no answers… but I have a feeling that most our audience is happy to start the new chapter of 2022.

As we look forward to the new year, with hopes of new opportunities and fruitful encounters, here’s to better times ahead for us all!

We look forward to bringing you, our valued readers, fresh insightful articles, newsletters and topical news, and we hope that you find enough meaningful and solid content in this year’s magazine editions and newsletters that will make you keep on reading FAnews.

We at FAnews are very passionate about our role and purpose, and we take it serious, because we know how important that role is. Just connect with us… we will be happy to engage.

Just register on FAnews.co.za/login and follow the steps. There is no cost no use our platform and no cost to download the FAnews Magazine from the website, so there is absolutely no reason not to make use of the system. An added benefit is the fact that you can do your CPD articles on our industry-first WhatsApp platform, which means that you can literally do you CPD articles anywhere and anytime. This really takes user-friendly to the next level… try it.

Speaking of anywhere and anytime, I would like to believe that 2022 will be good for us as an industry, but there are some real concerns for the future. I have no doubt that we have already seen the real impact of both global warming and cyber security and approaching this from an insurance perspective might be quite challenging. The future is everchanging… there is no doubt!

But even though we have faced challenges in the past two years, let’s remember that every day is a new beginning, a new adventure, with renewed hope and a chance to make changes. So, let’s go forward, embrace today and envision tomorrow!

Here’s to a new year and another chance to get it right!
