Mutual & Federal, a member of the Old Mutual Group, has announced the resignation of Kevin Wright, Operations Executive effective 31 December 2013. Wright will be relocating to Cape Town in early 2014. Raimund Snyders, Mutual & Federal Chief Executive Officer, thanked Wright for his contribution to the organisation, including implementing a new Commercial IT system in the company. “I would like to thank Kevin for his contribution over the last two years and wish him and his family all the best for the future,” Snyders said.

Fiduciary experts hold third annual conference

The Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa (FISA) held its third annual conference on 19 September in Midrand. The aim of the annual event is to bring fiduciary practitioners and academics together to discuss industry issues with a view to lifting the standards of fiduciary practice in South Africa. The conference was attended by 200 people, including FISA members, as well as guests and other stakeholders.
