World Environment Day: Emerald raises staff awareness

On 5 June World Environment Day, Emerald raised a huge amount of awareness by setting up an exhibit for staff.
It is the most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action and this year’s theme, ‘Think Eat Save’, aimed to raise awareness about food wastage and the impact it has on our environment.
Our People and Planet Committee; which is a subcommittee of the Sustainability Committee; set up an exhibit with various themes of Environmental awareness. The displays included information on Composting, Eco Friendly cleaning products, Energy Saving Products, Recycling, Alternative Energy.
