We’ve Got the Power campaign winners announced!

In 2015 Bestmed invited schools across the country to create fun music videos highlighting healthy lifestyle activities in their daily routine by taking part in the Bestmed We’ve Got The Power challenge. The exciting challenge required schools to create a short music video incorporating popular folk musician Jeremy Loops’ music and the five Bestmed wellness pillars: Be Happy, Be Nutri-Wise, Be Fin-Fit, Be Active and Be Safe. Videos had to be filmed using a smartphone and had to be fun and unique.

After an amazing response the winning videos were announced at the end of the year.The first prize of R20 000 was awarded to Milnerton primary school in the Western Cape. Second prize of R10 000 went to Curro Heuwelkruin in Limpopo and Rob Ferreira Hoerskool in Mpumalanga received the third Prize of R5 000. To view the winning videos, visit: http://www.wgtp.co.za/

Western Cape

Milnerton Primary ended their 2015 on a healthy high as winners of R20 000 for the Bestmed We’ve Got The Power challenge! The challenge required schools to create a fun music video which highlighted healthy lifestyle activities using Bestmed’s five wellness pillars: Be Happy, Be Nutri-Wise, Be Fin-Fit, Be Active and Be Safe. Limpopo

Polokwane’s Curro Heuwelkruin showed us their moves when they came second in the Bestmed We’ve Got The Power challenge, winning a cool R10 000. The challenge required schools to create a fun music video which highlighted healthy lifestyle activities using Bestmed’s five wellness pillars: Be Happy, Be Nutri-Wise, Be Fin-Fit, Be Active and Be Safe. Incorporating all their fun moves with a healthy lifestyle theme, this group of students made a video with their smartphone that won them second prize. Mpumalanga

Rob Ferreira Hoerskool in Mpumalanga scored a third place win in the Bestmed We’ve Got the Power challenge. The challenge required schools to create a fun music video which highlighted healthy lifestyle activities using Bestmed’s five wellness pillars: Be Happy, Be Nutri-Wise, Be Fin-Fit, Be Active and Be Safe.
