Profile's Stock Exchange Handbook, the quarterly guide to listed companies in South Africa, will from this month include data on the JSE and all new exchanges.
The JSE's 60 year South African monopoly was brought to an end in 2017 with the licensing of several new exchanges. Profile Media's sister company, ProfileData, was the first platform to make data on the new listings available on ShareData Online.
The first quarterly issue of the Stock Exchange Handbook – hot off the press – contains company data for all securities listed on A2X, 4AX, ZAR X, and EESE.
Profile Media chairman, Ernie Alexander, says that the company supports all initiatives that increase competition and make equity investing more accessible to ordinary investors.
"By including all exchanges in the handbook," Alexander says, "we provide an easy way for investors to see what's available across all platforms."
The latest additions to the Stock Exchange Handbook are the listings on A2X, the secondary listing exchange that aims to make share trading more efficient and more cost-effective.
Companies listed on A2X will be available on ProfileData's ShareData Online website in the near future.
Profile's Stock Exchange Handbook is available at selected bookstores or directly from Profile Media.
