Stilus Underwriting Managers are Santam's newest and thirteenth UMA which was registered on 1 July 2010.
Stilus "new era" insurance policy guarantees the levy payments due by members to their respective Bodies Corporate. In the event of a member's defaulting on their levies, Stilus will fund the Body Corporate the shortfall. Thereafter Stilus will collect the arrear levies at no cost to the Bodies Corporate. Stilus will be able to provide the liquidity do urgently needed in the Sectional Title industry, where it is estimated at least 20% of members are in default.
