Saxum Insurance sponsor TYC at the Lipton Challenge Cup Regatta - 2007

Saxum Insurance is unique to the local short-term insurance market: a start-up insurer, having launched from a zero base in February 2005. Its core competency is the development of customisable insurance solutions for clients, innovative insurance products, and exclusive propositions for underwriting managers and brokers. It is actively involved in the corporate and commercial insurance markets and has a wealth of industry and underwriting skills, with flexibility and rapid decision-making capabilities.

As part of its growth and distribution strategy, Saxum Insurance is widening its reach to include the KZN and Western Cape markets. It expects these initiatives to become a core component of its business growth in the near future. In addition to its geographic diversification, Saxum Insurance's product line will be enhanced with the launch of it's Marine UMA in January 2008.

To launch these initiatives, Shosholoza sailor David Rae and his young team from Pretoria on Transvaal Yacht Clubs Rote Hexe, were sponsored by Saxum Insurance in this years Lipton Cup Challenge. The Saxum Insurance management team were in Cape Town for the race and entertained business partners, insurance brokers aboard the Southern Cross boat to watch the final day's racing.
