SATIB Risk Solutions is proud to announce their inclusion as a Charter Member of the new worldwide alliance of insurance brokers, Equity Risk Partners Global Brokers.

Officially launched on the 15th July 2010, Equity Risk Partners Global (ERP Global) is a worldwide insurance broker alliance focused exclusively on the needs of the private equity sector. As the only partnership of its kind, ERP Global includes various international brokerages who are seeking to redefine the role of the insurance broker in global private equity through greater collaboration.

United States based Equity Risk Partners were integral in the creation of the alliance, as explains CEO Michael Marcon. “We have serviced the needs of the private equity sector for the last decade and as the global economy rebounds, we believe that there will be an imminent need for international expertise. We are excited to be part of this landmark alliance that connects private equity firms and insurance brokers on a global scale.”

As says Charter Member representative Gavin Courtenay, MD of SATIB Risk Solutions, “Each global partner now has access to previously untapped resources and together we could have a significant impact on our clients’ private equity transactions. Being part of ERP Global means that we can pool our resources and talents with other brokers in order to increase efficiency in due diligence. Through the use of cutting edge technology, brokers from around the world can respond whenever one of the members is engaged in a new deal and needs assistance. We are now ideally positioned to facilitate these opportunities.”

The ERP Global Charter Members are: SATIB Risk Solutions (Southern Africa), JMD Ross Insurance Brokers (Australia), Grupo Interbrok (Brazil), Holman Insurance Brokers (Canada), Houlder Insurance Brokers Far East (China), Servyr (France), Büchner & Barella (Germany), Comergon (Greece), JB Boda Insurance Brokers (India), Grupo LM&S (Mexico), Dorens & De Waal (Netherlands), Bolander & Company (Sweden), M&S Consultants (Switzerland), Tunisie Courtage (Tunisia), Bluefin Insurance Services (United Kingdom) and Equity Risk Partners (United States).
