Santam named top short-term insurer

Santam has been recognized as the 'short-term insurer of the year' for the period 2006 to 2007 by the Tygerberg Insurance Brokers Council (IBC).

Every year, the Tygerberg IBC gives recognition to insurers, production houses and/or service providers for outstanding service, products and the adherence to sound broker practices that contribute to the livelihood of the broking community at large.

Separate awards are made in respect of short-term insurance companies, life insurers, medical insurers and underwriters.  In the short-term insurance category, the awards are based on several criteria, including attitude, reliability, image, products, management and staff, systems and technology, professional and administrative advice and general service.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners at the Tygerberg IBC year-end function on 23 November at Groenvlei in Brackenfell, Kuilsriver.
