Rugby Fever

Former Springbok captain Francois Pienaar recently (Thursday 3 May 2007) announced Momentum's co-sponsorship of the FNB Classic Clashes, at Momentum's head office in Centurion, Pretoria. 

The FNB Classic Clashes involve 70 high schools across the country and aims to create awareness and to assist in boosting transformation of rugby at school level.

During the announcement, Francois Pienaar commented on the huge following and crowd support that high school rugby has in South Africa; crowds of up to 22,000 people will turn up at certain high school games. 

Pienaar further stressed that the development of rugby in South Africa on this level cannot be underestimated and expressed his delight in Momentum's support in helping to make a success of high school rugby.
