Ruda Landman hosts talk show on kykNET - in association with Medihelp
Award-winning journalist Ruda Landman will anchor a brand new kykNET talk show next week. The show is presented in association with Medihelp Medical Scheme and features the true stories of people and their loved ones who are faced with the challenges of living with different mental health conditions every day. The series was commissioned by kykNET and produced by well-known film producer Katinka Heyns.
The series, “’n Lewe Met”, is based on Medihelp's popular DVD series of documentaries entitled “Living With” with the same theme. Some of the stories that will be shared include those of celebrities such as Elzabé Zietsman, Simon Barnard (son of Katinka Heyns), Jeanne Els and Kosie Schoeman (who has a role in 7de Laan).
Landman will be assisted as anchor by well-known psychiatrist Dr Franco Colin, who will discuss each condition from a clinical perspective – including the effect it has on family and friends. The series will be broadcast as a talk show from 13 July to 5 October 2010 on channel 111 at 9p.m.
