PPS Insurance offers University refurbishment sponsorship

PPS Insurance, the company that specialises in insuring South Africa's professional community, understands the importance of maintaining or upgrading campus facilities or areas in order to improve amenities for students.

Since 1997, the PPS Insurance Board has chosen deserving Universities for the refurbishment programme, awarding as much as R5-million to a single institution based on its need. It's that time of year again, and PPS is calling for applicants to make their requirements known in order to be considered for the Refurbishment Sponsorship. Application forms are available on www.pps.co.za and list the sponsorship rules.

PPS Insurance feels that its contribution to Universities is "a two-way street", given that Universities are the training ground for PPS Insurance future members. The company is also aware of the financial constraints that many Universities operate under, and pledged almost 10 years ago to assist one or more institutes annually.

PPS Insurance invites applicants to submit their forms, together with any other suitable documentation, by 15 October 2006.
