Mutual & Federal Botswana is new Technical sponsor of Gaborone United Sporting Club

Mutual & Federal’s Botswana subsidiary was yesterday (13 August 2013) unveiled as the new Technical sponsor of Botswana based Gaborone United Sporting Club. The sponsorship is a three-year agreement to the tune of P1.2 million per year.

Jack Bekker, the Managing Director of Mutual & Federal Botswana said, “This sponsorship is important to Mutual & Federal and it is an honour to be given the opportunity to work with a team of Gaborone United Sporting Club’s stature. This is our biggest sponsorship yet and a symbol of our commitment to Botswana’s sporting future - since opening our first office in 1994”.

“We hope that other corporates will take the lead from us and support the development of football in the country”, he continued.

The sponsorship deal means that Gaborone United Sporting Club will, as of their first local game on 24 August 2013, be wearing Mutual & Federal branded jerseys.
