Momentum Gives the Gift of Science to Hoerskool Grobelarshoop

As part of its continued efforts to enrich the minds of South Africa’s future leaders, Momentum in conjunction with the Northern Cape Government, presented Hoerskool Grobelarshoop with a Smart Education kit on 29 July 2015.

The Smart Education Kit is a mobile science lab that exposes learners to the ICT world, by loading Maths, Biology and Science software onto notebooks. The content will be aligned with the Grade 10 to 12 curriculum and includes over 1600 Maths videos, which covers the grade 6 to 12 subject content. This means more than 1200 students will be able to benefit. Teachers will be to navigate the tools and will have continuous online and onsite support. 

“We are excited about this new project and we hope that we can ultimately implement the Smart Education Kit at more schools in the future. Education is key for Momentum as we believe that by enriching and developing today’s youth is important for shaping SA’s future leaders,” says Emmanuel Mahlangu, CSI Manager Momentum.
