Metropolitan opens new branch in Richard’s Bay to encourage financial wellness

With Janu-worry out of the way, community members of Richard’s Bay can now focus on their future and achieve their financial life goals. The opening of Metropolitan’s newest branch in Lakeview Terrace, Richard’s Bay, offers the perfect opportunity to engage with a professional financial adviser.

Metropolitan Regional Manager, Sindisiwe Zibane, says the Richard’s Bay branch is located more centrally and closer to businesses in the city. “It was necessary to open a branch in the area to better service our clients and be more easily accessible to the large community.”

Most employees at the new branch hail from the Richard’s Bay area. “As the branch grows and begins to employ new people, they will more than likely be residents from the community; evidence once again that Metropolitan is fulfilling its goal of being an employer of choice and creating employment opportunities in the communities it operates in,” adds Zibane.

The Richard’s Bay branch has six full-time consultants on the premises to deal with client queries and claims, as well as the Branch Manager. Several additional financial advisers, who service the area, use the offices to conduct administrative tasks and see clients.
