Medihelp: Living with series - Tik

Tik is one of the fastest-growing drugs in South Africa and is even being "marketed" as an easy way to lose weight. Ruda Landman and Dr Franco Colin are joined in the “’n Lewe met” studio by Ameer Solomons, who takes us into a world where Tik abuse seems a normal part of life. Ameer shares his story of how he and his family have managed to reclaim their lives and how he is now dedicating his life to helping others who abuse Tik. This episode of “’n Lewe met” will be screened on kykNET, channel 111 on DStv, on Tuesday, 21 September at 21.00, with repeats on Wednesday at 16.00 and Thursday at 11.00. The series, presented in association with Medihelp Medical Scheme, is based on Medihelp’s popular DVD series “Living With” that focuses on 13 different mental health conditions.
