The Masthead Financial Planning team enjoyed a festive morning with children at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital on 9 December 2016, bringing them gifts and entertaining them with games.

“The hospital is close to the heart of our staff, as we have all had an experience with the hospital,” said Samir Abdul, Head of Operations at Masthead Financial Planning. “We wanted to do something for the community as part of our year-end event, and the hospital was our first choice.”

The Masthead Financial Planning staff members, who started collecting toys and stationery in November, were taken on a tour of the facilities before they handed over their gift bags to children in the trauma ward and played with them.

“It was an emotional experience,” said Abdul. “Our team plans to start a collection drive early next year to help meet the needs of the children and their parents.”
