Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Lireas, a shareholder in the Camargue Group, awarded the specialist underwriting insurance firm with a certificate of excellence at its annual conference this year held in Hannover in Germany. Camargue was recognised for its success in the Most Improved Investment Result category where it outperformed three other Lireas companies vying for the 2013 title. Profitability; loss ratio; and several other contributing factors were assessed and Camargue held its own, proving worthy contenders in the race for pole position. Nominated in 2012, this is the first time Camargue has been awarded the title – an accomplishment it is most proud of.
