KZN insurance fraud: Alleged perpetrators identified
Further to the media release issued earlier today, Liberty Life can now confirm that five individuals working for independent brokers have been identified as having allegedly obtained personal client information and having used this information to submit unauthorised policy applications to Liberty Life.
Bobby Malabie, Executive: Liberty Life Distribution, said, “Liberty Life is working with the police to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice. Cases have been opened and the police have recommended that Liberty Life issues a supporting affidavit so the police can progress with charging the culprits. Our immediate priority now is to reimburse the members of the public who were victims of this conduct. We are glad to have had this matter brought to our attention and that resolution was reached expediently.
