InterGlobal appoints Operations Director
InterGlobal, the international private medical insurer has appointed Derek Stroud (pictured right) as its Group Operations Director.
Derek has 28 years experience in global operations and customer services within the insurance, retail and utilities industries. Prior to joining InterGlobal, he was Head of Service, Employee Benefits at Aegon Scottish Equitable and ran his own independent management consultancy, specialising in customer services, general management and change management. In 2000 he won the Institute of Customer Services and SOCAP “Customer Services Global Professional” Award.
As Group Operations Director for InterGlobal, Derek takes charge of the company’s claims and customer services functions across its 10 global offices.
Stephen Hartigan, Chief Executive of InterGlobal, says, “Derek will make a great contribution to InterGlobal. His priorities are to consolidate our global operations, rationalise processes and strengthen our customer service.”
