Personal and business insurance broker, Indwe Risk Services is a major sponsor of the 2015 Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar competition. This annual competition gives residents the opportunity to vote for their favourite town in South Africa and Namibia, and it’s the ideal platform to highlight the unique and interesting towns in both countries.

The idea behind the competition is to encourage residents to promote their local town, and bring attention to the attractions in their area. After two rounds of voting, there will be nine towns vying for the title and each finalist gets a turn to host a festival, which will be featured on Kwêla. The public votesfor their favourite town and at the end of July the winner will be announced as the Kwêla Dorp van die Jaar 2015. *
Each festival unites the residents of that town, and it draws tourism which boosts the local economy. With the country’s focus on these nine towns, it provides the competition’s sponsors with outstanding branding opportunities, particularly through TV advertising
