HIC is moving onwards and upwards

Last year saw our change in name from Hospitality Industry Underwriters (HIU) to Hospitality Industrial & Commercial Underwriting Managers (HIC) as we moved forward with our commercial and industrial product offering. Whilst we do not wish to lose focus on hospitality, which incorporates restaurants, bed and breakfast establishments, hotels, lodges and grassed sporting facilities, we also offer solutions for commercial buildings, manufacturing, retail and motor fleets. Our latest product is a broad spectrum protection against risks facing schools.

With this growth of our core focus came the need to move into bigger and better premises. After months of searching for the perfect offices to project our corporate image and to follow through on our promise to be a six star established business offering world class service, we located the perfect offices within the Eastwood Office Park in Bedfordview. We started renovations of Makana House in January and took occupation, without interruption to our business, in March. “The new offices are light, bright and spacious giving an immediate impression of the professional service offered by HIC”, said Denleigh Wilensky, Executive Director, at the opening ceremony.
