19 July 2010 Sela Brokers

On July 24 2010 Ferrari owners, fans and fanatics will gather at Kyalami to celebrate and admire the ongoing magic of the motoring marvel that is Ferrari. Entry is free and Sela Brokers are the proud sponsors.

The track opens at 9am and 150 Ferrari vehicles will be participating in the full day’s program which includes an open practice for Ferrari owners – first timers as well as experienced racers. Instructors will be on hand to give pointers on handling Ferrari vehicles on the Kyalami track as well as good road sense and vehicle handling.

“For spectators extra enjoyment there will be a Speed Demonstration consisting of two six lappers where the chaps who have been racing Ferraris will demonstrate the high performance capacity of this extraordinary vehicle,” says Giorgio Cavalieri, CEO of Sela Brokers, Ferrari specialists and sponsors of the day.

“There are more than 50 Ferrari models worldwide and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see more than a dozen of the most popular models including: 308 to F40, F50, F430 and F612.”

Cavalieri says there will be a historic photographic session on the main straight. “At lunchtime all the Ferraris and their owners will gather on Kyalami’s main straight for a group photograph and the public are invited to join in and make it a really impressive Ferrari Fan picture to remember. The public will also be able to get up close and personal and admire the 150 Ferrari’s gathered and parked between 13h00 and 14h00.

“Visitors will have virtually unlimited access. They can roam around the track, sit on any grand stand and also come into the pits. There is a special corridor where specialists will be showing off their goods: a Ferrari Store, Shell, Acer, Forza Racing, Vodacom, Pirelli, Viglietti Motors and Classic Car magazine.”

Glamorous pit girls will add a touch of allure and welcome Ferrari fans and all participants – adding to the flair of the day and in keeping with the display of awe-inspiring vehicle design beauty on show.

Times to note: Track opens at 9h00; Challenge Demonstration 12h00 to 12h30; 12h30 group photograph on main straight; walk among and admire 150 parked Ferraris 13h00 to 14h00.
