Dyer & Butler selects C-Track

02 December 2008 | People and Companies | News | Digicore

Server-based vehicle tracking tool provides added speed and flexibility

Dyer & Butler, the civil engineering contractor, has selected DigiCore's C-track system to provide an effective vehicle tracking solution. Under the agreement, C-track will be installed in 130 vans within the company's vehicle fleet that are operated by on-site engineers to provide real-time visibility of mobile assets and historical data, for enhanced business reporting.

Dyer & Butler has previously used vehicle tracking within its fleet operation, but chose to switch to the server-based C-track solution due to the added speed and responsiveness it possesses over web-based rivals. Not only will the company save considerable time generating operational reports, but they will also have all historical fleet data stored securely on their own server, making it easily accessible for inputting into other back-office systems.
