Diagonal Insurance supports CANSA

Diagonal Insurance Solutions donated R25 000 to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) during a ceremony at CANSAs Bedfordview, Johannesburg offices recently.

We would like to show our support for CANSAs work in fighting cancer to save lives, said Mr Pim Bangert, CEO of Diagonal. We at Diagonal are very proud to have been CANSAs short-term intermediary for more than 15 years and we look forward to continuing to protect the organisations assets, he added.

Mrs Elize Joubert, CANSAs Acting National Executive Director, said the organisation is very grateful for Diagonals continued support over the years and for this recent donation.

CANSA depends on support from individuals and corporate partners in order to run our prevention programmes and patient care services around the country, she said. With over 80 000 South Africans being diagnosed with cancer each year and one in four South African affected with the disease, the need for CANSAs services is ever increasing, Joubert added.
