Cycling from Karoo to Coast for a Cause!

Camargue MD Mitch Marescia indirectly was instrumental in the birth of Brainstorm. The story dates back to 2005 when South Africa was working towards hosting the Soccer World Cup. It was a freezing cold morning on route to the office when he came upon Larry Lombard, a Star newspaper journalist who at the time was investigating a child trafficking story and the societal impact of hosting the global sporting event in our country. Larry had been viciously attacked and left for dead – violence linked to his investigation and intended to silence him. Larry is also well known for his role as co-founder of the Ironman South Africa sporting event.
A real fighter, Larry miraculously beat the incredible odds against him. He made an astonishing recovery, and went on to become a founder member of Brainstorm.
Helping others is an integral part of who we are and our journey to create a better South Africa is on-going. Like a mountain bike is made to move, so we ask that you help us move mountains by sponsoring our team. Be it a sponsorship of R1, R10 or a R1 000, for every kilometre we finish, we are not prescribing how you participate in giving our pedals power.
If you are interested in helping us create ripples of change, please contact me directly to discuss your participation in our fundraising drive.
