CIB Insurance Solutions embarks on new building venture
CIB Insurance Solutions is expanding their branding presence in Bedfordview, Johannesburg with a R65 million, expansion of their current office space. With an expected completion date of March 2008, the new 6000m2 building has been designed to compliment the modern design of the current CIB building, making the new development both functional and stylish.
The distinct style and prime location of CIB gives CIB enviable branding presence on one of the busiest highways in the country. When CIB decided to expand their office space, the choice was made to connect the new building to CIB One with a glass tunnel, thereby creating twin buildings with matching design and furthering CIBs branding presence.
"CIB is a company built on challenging convention and we have always been modern in our thinking, so when it came to the design of the building the brief was simple: make the building stand the test of time yet still be relevant today" says Douglas Donnelly, CEO of CIB Insurance Solutions.
CIB will occupy the top floor of both buildings, with the ground floor available to tenants that will enhance the working conditions for CIB employees. The ground floor of the new building will boast a Wiesenhoff Coffee shop, Palates, Yoga and Spinning studio and a beauty salon.
