250 children have received the gift of education and brighter futures through the Cartrack Education Fund. Cartrack contributes a portion of their revenue towards its Education Fund, providing primary, secondary and tertiary education opportunities to children from disadvantaged communities. During this period, 241 primary and secondary school children and 9 tertiary education students have benefited from the Cartrack Education Fund.

“By supporting children in their education, we believe that we will not only have a profound impact on their lives, but on the economic prosperity of their families and communities in future,” says Zak Calisto, Global CEO of Cartrack.

“I would like to thank Cartrack for putting me through High School,” says Tshepo Motsima, a beneficiary of the Cartrack Education Fund. “Through hard work and perseverance, I passed my matric with exemption. Cartrack really cares and I hope that my achievement shows that I was a worthy recipient of the support that they have given me,” he adds.

The Cartrack Education Fund provides opportunities for learning and personal growth in support of children that come from families that are in acute financial need.

“Our aim is to build a sustainable solution to the increasing number of children who are not receiving a quality education due to the growing financial pressures on families. A child’s education should never be left in the balance. Education is the key to breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and unlocking the potential of our society and economy,” Calisto concludes.
