Astute, the company that integrates data online for advisers undertaking financial planning for clients, sponsored two teams in last weekend’s Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge, and in the process raised R6 000 for charity.

The teams consisted of an Astute staff team and a client team who competed against each other for the best average time. All the riders in both teams completed the race without injury, but the Astute Client team, with an average time of 4:09, was well ahead of the Astute Staff team’s average of 4:49. The Astute staff team selected Cotlands as their charity of choice and the client team selected CANSA. These charities provide critical services to people whose lives are affected by HIV and cancer.

Said Astute Managing Director, Biddie Biddulph: “We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to those cycled and especially to our sponsors – Absa, FIA and Focus Group - whose donations will make a difference to the lives of those who benefit from the invaluable work done by Cotlands and CANSA. Congratulations to the Astute client team!”
