Aon SA shows support for Aon Brazil in anticipation of FIFA World Cup 2014

The Soccerex Global Convention was held in Rio de Janeiro last week. This conference attracts the world's leaders in the business of football.

Dr Danny Jordaan was a guest speaker and presented a session entitled "Hosting and Delivering a Successful World Cup". His message to Brazil was clear - get started early and establish the reporting lines of authority between Government, State and Host City.

Also attending were delegates from Aon South Africa who, as appointed brokers to the 2010 FIFA World Cup, were supporting Aon Brazil for 2014. "We want to share our experience with our Brazilian colleagues and pass the baton on to them in their race for the appointment to the Local Organising Committee for 2014", said Dani Ettridge, Business Unit Head of Aon Sport, Recreation and Entertainment division South Africa.
