The African Insurance Exchange 2025 is fast approaching, and the energy is building! Under the powerful theme, "The Baobab Advantage: Multifaceted Growth and Continuous Evolution," this year’s conference promises to be a dynamic platform for leadership, innovation, and long-term industry transformation. Set against the backdrop of Africa’s growing influence in the global insurance landscape, AIE2025 offers delegates a rare opportunity to be part of the conversations shaping the future of the sector.

Gear up to connect & learn from industry giants

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Mteto Nyati, Chairperson of Eskom and one of South Africa’s most respected business leaders, will deliver the Opening Keynote Address. As a transformative leader with deep cross-industry experience, Mr. Nyati will explore: "The Baobab Leadership Advantage: Leading with Resilience, Innovation, and Purpose."

Drawing on his vast leadership experience across technology, telecommunications, and energy, he will share powerful lessons on how to lead with vision in times of volatility and uncertainty. His address will set the tone for a conference that challenges us to reimagine insurance with longevity and legacy in mind.

Mr. Collin Molepe, Chairperson of the IISA Board, will welcome delegates and guide the conference journey. Known for his commitment to transformation and excellence within South Africa’s financial services sector, Mr. Molepe’s leadership will ensure that the sessions are anchored in relevance, insight, and impact.

We’ll close on a high note with an unmissable Closing Address from Ms. Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa, CEO of Naspers South Africa. Her session, carrying the baobab legacy will focus on:

·       How African businesses can scale globally while staying rooted in local strengths.
