Tracker adds competitive edge to sold out 2014 IISA Conference

24 July 2014 Tracker

This year's IISA Conference is set to be the best one yet, with a stellar line up of speakers and a programme that promises engagement on the industry's hottest topics. Industry heavyweights will tackle issues from advanced analytics to the solutions-driven round tabling of regulatory reform end goals - all providing for intriguing dialogue.

The 2014 event has sold out a month in advance, a first for the Southern Hemisphere’s largest Insurance conference. Whether this is in response to 2013 speaker calls for industry unity, transformation and action remains to be seen. What is evident is that 1000 delegates from 24 countries are up for it.

For those looking to mix in some virtual entertainment, Tracker will be showcasing their range of vehicle intelligence services with a specially developed interactive platform that allows you to virtually “ride” the Cape Epic. The world's leading mountain biking event saw every rider team carry a telematics device from Tracker in 2014, to improve rider safety.

Tracker have adapted their popular Cape Epic smartphone game for IISA delegates to pit their skills against their peers. What we know is; the game is played using your feet, requires little co-ordination (but will make for interesting people watching), results will be displayed on a leaderboard and there are awesome prizes up for grabs too. For the rest, you are going to have to get down to the cutting-edge Tracker stand to see for yourself. We have been reliably informed that the actuaries amongst us will not have an advantage!

So, while digesting the key take-outs of the conference, between the pre-event golf and cycling race, the evening “networking sessions” and Sun City’s alluring attractions, make sure that you check out the game.
