The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa to have a significant presence at the ACFE Africa anti-fraud conference

25 August 2023 Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI)

As a dedicated anti-fraud advocate and supporter of clean business practices, the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) will be attending the 16th Annual Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Africa anti-fraud conference and exhibition as an exhibitor on 13-15 September.

This year the conference is themed ‘25 Years of Excellence: Building Professional Connections’ and will be attended by over 1000 people. As an exhibitor the FPI will be able to showcase its brand to like-minded professionals consisting of delegates, fellow sponsors and exhibitors. This means we are recognised as anti-fraud advocates who subscribe to ethical behaviour, due diligence, good governance, and support the wider mission of combating fraud and corruption.

Attending the ACFE Africa anti-fraud conference, which is recognised as the largest anti-fraud gathering in Africa and the second largest in the world, will afford the FPI an opportunity to showcase our services to like-minded people and advocates for the anti-fraud movement.

As a non-profit professional body, founding and affiliate member of Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), the FPI exists to improve the level of professionalism and positively influence the quality of financial planning and advice provided by our members.

Our vision is one of professional financial planning for all. And as we advance and promote the pre-eminence and status of financial planning professionals, we do so while at all times acting in the interests of the society whom the profession serves. Come join us at the ACFE Africa anti-fraud conference to find out more information about how we do this through improving the quality and accessibility of professional financial planning for all in South Africa; acting as advocate for professional financial planning and building a recognition of the importance and need for such planning by the general public; providing a framework within which members can achieve qualifications and maintain competence to create greater value for their clients, practices and employers; ensuring that members maintain the highest ethical standards in the pursuance of their profession; providing a leadership role within financial services by providing balanced, credible input and commentary to government and the public and facilitating transformation within the profession.
