SSP conference in Dar es Salaam

24 April 2012 | People and Companies | Events | SSP

SSP, a leading global provider of insurance technology, recently supported its SSP Pure Insurance User Group 2012 Conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from the 29 – 30 March 2012.

Hosted by the user group, the conference which brought together nine SSP customers from seven African countries, aims to drive further collaboration between users and to enhance efficiencies within their respective regions. It covered a number of items raised at the previous conference and generated some excellent feedback on the recently launched SSP Pure Insurance, business intelligence developments and system demos.

With increased competition being experienced across Africa from international players, the thought leadership piece on emerging trends helped to provide insight into how to be more competitive in today’s insurance market. Debates on local issues such as telematics, mobile technology and increased regulation also provided delegates with great value.

“The insurance market is changing faster than ever before,” said User Group Chairman, Anthony Thubei.

“The conference was a resounding success providing a great opportunity to network and discuss key challenges and opportunities with our clients. We’ve had great feedback from our clients about the value of these forums and plan to develop them even further in the future – it’s just another way we can add value for our clients,” concludes Brown.

The next user conference will be held in Botswana in April 2013.
