The continuation of private equity deals seems to be apparent with both local and international players in the market.  "James Formby, head of corporate finance at Rand Merchant Bank, says offshore private- equity players raised $300bn internationally last year that they now need to invest. Emerging markets are expected to offer better returns in the present environment than many developed markets, he says."
