LOA Convention 2007

The 2007 Life Offices' Association (LOA) Convention will be taking place next week Thursday under the theme "Convergence The changing landscape of the financial services industry".

The Convention will focus on the blurring boundaries between the various financial services, as well as issues of holistic regulation and competition in the financial services sector.

The spotlight will also be on retirement and social security reform. Senior representatives from the financial services industry, Government, and labour are lined up to debate this critical subject, which will have a lasting impact on the financial services industry in South Africa.

The Convention will take place in the Bill Gallagher room at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg and the schedule of events is as follows:

25 July 2007 - golf tournament at the Glendower Golf Club. Tee off from 11h15
25 July 2007  - gala dinner at 19h30 at Vilamoura Restaurant in Sandton, Johannesburg
26 July 2007  - full day convention in the Bill Gallagher room at the Sandton Convention Centre from 08h30
