Intermediaries gear up for annual industry awards

24 April 2012 | People and Companies | Events | The Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA)

One of the most anticipated and prestigious events of the financial services industry’s calendar, the Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA) Awards Banquet, is to be hosted on the 7th of June 2012 at the Sandton Convention Centre in

According to Brian van Flymen, President of the FIA, the awards provide a unique opportunity to honour those financial services providers who provide the best service for clients, as voted for by South African financial intermediaries. “Competition is a necessity in any industry as it motivates competitors to constantly look for ways to improve their business operations, whilst also ensuring that those who excel receive the recognition they deserve.”

“The gala banquet attracts over 1000 key decision makers enabling intermediaries to network and share opinions about issues, challenges and opportunities within the financial services space.”

Independent research company Bluestream Research is conducting the survey among the FIA’s members with the three main criteria being assessments of product quality, service quality and relationship quality.

“We look forward to hosting this very important industry event and hope that all financial services providers, intermediaries and other key stakeholders who want to participate have booked their space,” concludes van Flymen.
