Facilitator
Simon Colman is Executive Head of Digital at SHA Specialist Underwriters.

He has over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry as a liability specialist. He co-founded the liability business unit at Camargue and has worked at Swiss Re, Hannover Re and General Re where he honed his skills in the European and US markets. He also served on the Road Accident Fund insurance committee in 1998/99 under Judge Kathy Satchwell. Colman has worked in the television industry as the host of Business Day TV’s Law@ Work. He is the head judge on The Insurance Apprentice and is a regular guest on eNCA’s Moneyline as well as a frequent contributor of articles to the Argus, Star, Citizen, Sowetan and various other publications. Simon is an experienced underwriter of liability and cyber insurance products and is a speaker on the emerging exposures facing small businesses in the South African market.
