23 October 2014 | People and Companies | Events | George Landsberg, LCI

TCF and RDR Regulation and Compliance are a few of the inseparable aspects of Life Insurance business models, according to George Landsberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Landsberg Communications International, LCI.

“’The Future of Life Insurance in Africa’ was a very easy label to assign to what we found to be a very necessary and important agenda, worthy of hosting as an event within the Life Insurance space as we close off 2014. However, ensuring that we did a solid due diligence and really got the right insight from the right thought leaders and experts, we set our targets high. We aimed for and secured a line-up of local and international thought leaders to present on a unique combination of key themes and tracks that we and our speaker panel believe to be most pertinent to the future of Life Insurance in Africa”, explains Landsberg.

The event, a collaboration with Oracle Insurance, brings internationals from Allianz and Oracle to present on topics ranging from; Core Insurance Strategies and Operations Excellence to Key Distribution Strategies. Experts will explore Life Insurance business models employed by Europe’s most successful insurance firms and how local players can leverage these perspectives in an African context. SA experts include, amongst others, C-level speakers from Johannesburg based Lion of Africa Insurance, Investment Solutions and leading advisory firms KPMG and Deloitte.

“The event is geared towards addressing the challenges that companies in the African Life marketplace have to contend with and how to rise above them. This is an event designed for C-level Executives, Heads of Departments, Directors and Senior Management professionals from Africa’s Life sector. Delegates can expect perspectives that will cover business critical topics and futurist insights for practical solutions”, adds Landsberg.

Africa’s Life market is booming and promising, however the sustainability of products, solutions, market share and returns for many players will require and depend on insight, leadership and innovation.

The two day event runs from November 26th and will be hosted at the Radisson Blu, on the corner of Rivonia Road and Daisy Street in Sandton, Johannesburg.
