Dr Michael Jordaan to open the FPI Professionals Convention

28 May 2014 FPI

Dr Michael Jordaan to open the FPI Professionals Convention on Wednesday, 25 June in Sandton.

Hailed as one of South Africa's most visionary and progressive business leaders, it is indeed fitting that Africa's most innovative banker, Dr Michael Jordaan will be the opening keynote speaker. After he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of First National Bank in 2004, the bank experienced a total brand transformation culminating in it being named the world's most innovative bank in 2012. Now based in Stellenbosch, Michael is not one to sit still; in addition to being chairman of Mxit and Wines of South Africa, he has also set up a private investment company Montegray Capital. All testament to his belief that "Innovation isn't simply the art of introducing something new to the world but rather the art of introducing something better and smarter. Something that works.”
